H&M Home Wishlist

Probably my favourite thing to shop for is homeware, I just love that you can completely change a place and an atmosphere with a few items.  As I will be moving out into my own two bedroom flat with my boyfriend this July, I have become completely obsessed with browsing through every store that stocks homeware and just dreaming of what I can do with the place! One of my favourite places for homeware is definitely H&M, I just love their style and no matter what season I always find something I fall in love with, so I thought I'd share with you a few of the items on my current wishlist!

2. Wooden Plant Pot - £9.99
3. Pineapple Candle - £4.99
5. Small Wooden Box - £9.99
7. Wooden Storage Crate - Could no longer find this so the link is to a similar product! - £12.99

Let me know in the comments what your favourite place to get homeware items is!

What's On My Nails

Admittedly the weather in the UK hasn't been the greatest recently, and this is definitely more of a spring/summer colour, but I really wanted to share with you the nail polish I've been wearing the last few days. 'Go Ginza' by Essie is a gorgeous pastel pink colour, almost with a hint of lilac, which I applied two coats of with a cheap basic top coat. I purchased this colour from Boots last summer but with all the gloomy weather that's been going on recently, my pastel nails have really brightened up my day!I find Essie nail polishes are some of the best you will find on the high street, although at £7.99 I know they aren't the cheapest of the high street brands. Despite this, I think they are well worth the money, I've had this on my nails for four days so far without a single chip, which might not be an achievement for everyone, but I usually can't go two days without a chip so Essie have me impressed!

I'd love to try some more Essie colours so if you have a favourite please let me know in the comments!

My Favourite Lush Bath Bomb

Hi, my name is Alice and I am a Lush addict. There, I said it.
I think if I could afford to, I would have Lush products everywhere... but sadly I am a student and apparently rent and food are more important! Like so many people I had a bit of a splurge in the boxing day sale, although annoyingly I was on the website for over 4 hours before I could checkout just due to the number of people on the site. Although not in the sale, I couldn't resist picking up my current favourite bath bomb, Fizzbanger. This bath bomb is incredible, each time I get it I just can't get over the smell or the fact it has popping candy in it... yes you heard me, popping candy! I don't think I'll be able to give it justice because lets be honest not many people have the skill of being able to describe smells, so I'll leave you with what Lush describes it as:
"A Catherine wheel of a bath bomb. It changes colour as it fizzes, crackling with popping candy as it goes and releasing first a citrussy apple and then a cinnamon, apple pie like scent with a hint of ylang ylang."
For the reference I have no idea what ylang ylang is.

Let me know what your favourite Lush products are if you are also a Lush addict please go try out this bath bomb, you won't regret it!

New semester goals

I suck at being a student. Its true. I'm awful at sticking to deadlines, I struggle getting to morning lectures, I never willingly speak in a group discussion, and despite always carrying a notebook and pen I seem to be the only one never actually taking notes. While everyone sees January as a new start, I am determined to change some bad habits as I go into my second semester of the year. For some reason I feel like blogging about them will force me to actually try to achieve them, so here are my semester goals as I go into the second half of my second year (eek half way through university!)
1. I think a major and quite obvious goal would be to get my attendance as high as possible, I am paying £9000 a year so I think I should be getting my arse to everything! To make them more worthwhile I've decided to pick up a keyboard case for my iPad in the hope it'll encourage me to use it to take notes so I don't feel like I'm wasting time!
2. Do the required reading for the seminar. I think the worst feeling it sitting in a seminar and not having a bloody clue what anyone is talking about.

If you have any tips on how to stay motivated at uni or become a better student please leave them down below because I need all the help I can get!
